About Steadied
A clinical instrument for traders.
Built from clinical practice. Designed for the trading screen. Steadied brings the two together in tools you can use before, during, and after a trade.
- Over two decades
- Clinical practice
- Nearly 10 years
- Active trading
Why it exists
Sitting on both sides, the clinical one and the trading one, made a familiar gap clear: knowing your strategy and following it under pressure are different skills. Steadied gives you a way to practise the second.
What it actually is
Understand the moment before the trade.
Check your state while the decision is still in front of you. Steadied uses what you report to show your status and the next step. Over time, your record helps you see how those moments connect to the way you trade.
Live protocol preview
Pick a state. See how the protocol starts.
This is the real instrument, running on nothing but the point you choose. The preview shows the first step of the assigned protocol only. Your selection stays in this browser tab. Nothing is stored or sent.

That reading is one instrument of four. The others sit around it:
Before the open
The pre-market scan. A body-level distress read taken cold, before the first chart. The day starts with a measurement instead of a mood.
Before the trade
The state check. Where you are right now on a signed scale, Revved Up through Centered to Shut Down, with a zone and a verdict attached: trade, pause, or stop.
Underneath all of it
The pattern map. An assessment that maps the patterns driving the deviations, so the same behaviour on the same setup stops reading as bad luck.
After the trade
The outcome log. Every trade filed against your plan, on it or off it, with the broken rule named rather than described.
Three of those four run before the trade. The outcome log connects the decision to what happened next.
The Fundamentals
Five skills to practise at the screen.
Not chart fundamentals. The ones under the person holding the chart. You don't complete them, you practice them.
- Detecting: catching activation before it catches you.
- Directing: steering by your values instead of the impulse.
- Defusing: putting space between the thought and the click.
- Observing: watching your state without flinching or fixing it.
- Integrating: closing the loop so today's session teaches tomorrow's.
Who builds this
A psychotherapist leading a team, building in the open.
Every scale, protocol, and intervention in here comes out of real clinical work, and nothing ships without going through him.
He builds with Claude and Codex as AI engineering collaborators. Specialist AI reviewers examine the implementation, challenge its assumptions, and check it against the clinical design. The psychotherapist directs that work and remains responsible for the clinical decisions.
Michael, a trader and developer, consults on the build, bringing another view of both the code and the demands of a live trading session.
This is a small, clinically directed team. Feedback from real trading sessions shapes what we improve, with the same clinical oversight as the original build.
The last collaborator is you. Your state checks and trade logs give the instrument something meaningful to read. Your experience helps shape what comes next.
The most tailored performance app in the world, built for a nervous system under fire.
What it isn't
Not financial advice. Not signals, and not a replacement for therapy. It's one tool, aimed at one thing: keeping you steady enough to trade like yourself.
